From August of 2013 to February of 2016 I did all of my blogging type activities on my Tumblr. Hopefully at some point I will move the more important bits over to this blog to save them from the inevitable loss of tumblr in the future. It looks like there are current instructions for doing so on Tumblr’s Zendesk.
Most of what I did during that period was drawing. I tried to draw an image a day and then schedule them for posting later when I had a decent set built up.

In 2010 I was heavily embedded in the Columbus 2D fighting game scene (think Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat). Many of these games offer an option to randomly select a character, but Marvel Vs Capcom 2 does not. Character selection for the game is actually quite complex as well. For a short time there was an online util that you could use to get a team. It was very simple and at some point it dropped off the internet.

KoLumbus is an annual meet up for players and developers of Kingdom of Loathing. I ran KoLumbus 5 in 2009 with much help from the previous organizers and a couple of my closest clan mates. Well over a hundred people attended over 3 days. You can still see a thread were we planned the event on the game’s forum.
Note: I’ve back-dated this post to the last day of the event to fill in some history in my blog.

Much of college is a blur. I was incredibly depressed at the time and I think I’ve bottled up those memories as tightly as possible. However when I Googled myself I found this old game I helped out on called Armadillo Asphalt Apocalypse. I still occasionally talk with one of the other guys who put much of the work into the game. I do now vaguely remember messing around with it, but I can’t for the life of me remember how heavy my contribution ended up being.

So I was born on December 23, 1987. That’s public record. I’m thinking of maybe slowly filling in holes here in my blag’s chronology with links and archived content from between 1987 and now. I might never get to all of it, but I want to get some of the more interesting items in.
