After more than 5 years of playing off and on, my best friend and I finally finished Final Fantasy XII! I’ve been playing FFXII off and on since its release in 2006. So when we committed to play the game together I was hopeful we would actually complete it. I had no idea it would take this long. We only played on Fridays for a few hours and only in person.

Nearly all of last week, when I wasn’t working, was dedicated to more Destiny 2. Bought the Witch Queen campaign and it is just incredibly good. Running it with my best friend. One of the bosses took us probably an hour and a half with just a ton of wipes. And it felt like a fun rather than a drag. I’m 1537 gear level now. Only 13 away from the powerful cap.

Having never really recovered from the sleep schedule destruction of daylight savings time, I elected to take some vacation at the end of the week. I devoted that time solely to two pursuits: waking up on time and going to sleep on time. As a result my brain was fuzzy and I accomplished basically nothing else. Instead I played Destiny 2. I logged about 44 hours in the game in the last week and a half as a result.

Airsonic + beets My airsonic + beets journey continues. It turns out there’s no really good way to merge singletons into an album in beets aside from re-importing (references here and here). So the tracks I imported with the -s flag have been an enormous pain the ass. In addition I somehow did something, I don’t know what, that wiped all the track data for the Umurangi Generation and Umurangi Generation Macro soundtracks.
