I made a mini-bucket list for Destiny 2. I can feel my enthusiasm waning and I want to get some big things done before I fall off. This way I can look back on my time with the game with satisfaction, rather than with regret and vague plans to return some day. I tend to leave a lot unfinished when my hyperfixations fall off. The worst part is, I never completely lose interest, just enthusiasm and focus.

It’s actually nice out! I worked out for the first time in months last night because the bar was actually warm enough to touch. It was a great session! Next year I really need to figure out a better way to heat the garage and equipment for workouts. It stays cold in there for way too long.
My Destiny 2 obsession continues, but I believe I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

My current hyperfixation continues to be a pretty big priority for me. However I’m trying to think a bit more and ensure that I’m doing at least some other things too. One of the rules I try to live by is
Leave things better than you found them.
Googling this doesn’t give me a good source in the first page and I’m not up for digging right now.
I try to practice this in an everyday kind of way for myself.

Another week full of Destiny is under my belt. My best friend and I finished the Witch Queen Legendary campaign! It was excellent from start to finish, with only a little falloff in enjoyment when we cheesed the final boss.
I’ve been very happy with the game so far and there is a ton more to do! We have 2 other old campaigns to do, as well as strikes and dungeons.

Nearly all of last week, when I wasn’t working, was dedicated to more Destiny 2. Bought the Witch Queen campaign and it is just incredibly good. Running it with my best friend. One of the bosses took us probably an hour and a half with just a ton of wipes. And it felt like a fun rather than a drag. I’m 1537 gear level now. Only 13 away from the powerful cap.

Daylight savings time has absolutely destroyed me this week. I did nearly nothing I planned on and zombied my way through. I’ve heard similar things from those around me. Instead of pushing through, next time I should just step back and focus on resetting. I have slips in sleep schedule pretty often and that always works best. It’s just hard to remember to do the right thing when I’m already sleep deprived.

Over a year ago, my Polaroid 600 Business Edition started draining the batteries of film continuously, causing me to waste a lot of money on unused shots. I set it aside, planning to buy a replacement camera.
Since then, I’ve shopped around for a new camera, 600 or otherwise, but haven’t been able to settle on anything. The Polaroid 600 cameras on ebay are all either untested or expensive. Modern digital cameras are only in the high end due to phones.

3D Scanning As I write this, my second 3D print of a scanned object is printing off. By the time I post this a full single-topic article will be up describing my experience. I started working with this device over a year ago. Why did it take me so long to get back to this? I’ve put more detail in the article, but it really comes down to procrastination. Getting this done has been hanging over my head, in part because the scanner is a loaner.

This is my second time taking a look through my open tabs. I have a lot of long lived tabs once again! Time to clean house and get some of these archived. Even with all of these closed I still have 67 tabs open on my phone’s browser…
